Anaphylaxis Management

A 4 hour course focusing on how to recognise a casualty with anaphylaxis and provide first aid


Service Description

The Anaphylaxis Management course teaches candidates how to recognise a casualty with anaphylaxis and provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty. This 4-hour Anaphylaxis Management training is available as a standalone course or can be added to one of RLSS UK’s other first aid qualifications. After completing an RLSS UK Anaphylaxis Management course, candidates receive a Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis. A range of subjects are covered within the Anaphylaxis Management course, including: - Assessing an incident - Providing first aid to an unresponsive casualty - CPR including AED - Pocket mask - Recovery position - Recognising a casualty with anaphylaxis - Using an adrenaline auto-injector Candidates must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of taking the Anaphylaxis Management course, and no prior first aid knowledge is required.
